“Art Practices and Vocabulary”

A one-day conference programmed during the opening days of the exhibition project Sentences on the banks and other activities curated by Abdellah Karroum. The conference, organized in collaboration with the University of Jordan, comprises of a set of presentations and an open debate on the project, as well as art practices and its vocabulary in general. A group of artists and writers contributing to the exhibition project as well as scholars from the university discuss the formulation of artworks, and the distance between the idea of an artwork and the realization of its object.

This conference is organized as part of Sentences on the banks and other activities, an exhibition project curated by Abdellah Karroum for Darat al Funun.
