The R22 radio is contributing to Working for Change, project for a Moroccan Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale, 2011. R22 art radio is now installed and open to the city of Venice and its cultural scene. It features a program broadcasting from the space of “Working for Change” project. R22 serves as a container of a shared documentation since, here, the process of production becomes part of the project itself.

Karim Rafi sends sound tracks, texts and images from his studio in Casablanca.

Tomas Colaço’s project consists of creating spaces of exchange and dialogue through working together with people from Spiazzi Verdi no-profit organization into the vegetable garden set in Giudecca and open to the local community. In the context of Working for Change the artist will bring seeds, plants as well as publishing material to his working-table in order to share and spread this urban renewal initiative by Spiazzi Verdi.

Natura in Fieri is Sofia Aguiar’ work in progress for the moroccan pavilion project.

In Gabriella Ciancimino’s project the act of storytelling becomes a strategy in a view of re-enacting the artist’s experience in the Rif Mountains (Morocco). The documentation - travel diary, drawings, photos - produced by the artist is here embodied in order to be reperformed. While suggesting a possible corrispondence, between distant times and spaces, the project aims at creating a dialogue among the local community and the art world.

The artist, Seamus Farrell, starts his intervention, a “magnetic compass” engraved on the wall.

The drawings of Ninar Esber’s Barre stabilisatrice et carre magique performance have been set up in the space. The performance will take place the day first of June 2011 at 7 pm, Spazio Punch, Giudecca-Venezia.

Vincent+Feria present the book "Post Post Antarctica Situations performatives" in the space of Working for Change project.

Khamsa (five) is the Younés Rahmoun’s pièce that will be performed at Spazio Punch on June 05, 2011. A special table is addressed to this performance for camera : it features five small pales coming from the rosemary tree of the garden used by the artist to make drawings with the left hand while the right one is filming.

Ismaïl Bahri, documentation on "Mirage" (experiment). The artist experiments within the space with the available material : on the back entrance he sticks scotch tape, which reflects the colors of the garden distorted by the wind.

“Working for Change” is a research and action-based project that focuses on producing and sharing ideas in order to consider artistic production and its role in changing societies. The Working for Change’ space of Spazio Punch is now renewed since it has got rid of a wall, in addition to acquiring tables and chairs offered as workspaces to artists and participants for exhibiting and discussing their contributions. In Venice, the exhibition space doubles as a project room : while changing its appearance, the space proposes a reflection about experimental ways for art production, presentation and documentation.
