L’appartement 22 creates two temporary studios functioning in a co-presence: Brussels and the Rif Mountain are making the program of R22 o’Ndra Bruxel project. This project is inspired by "Andra"* as a concept, it aims at bringing a production space out onto the communication and exhibition places through R22 studios. R22 in the Rif Mountain is a created space for dialogue, work and reflection . R22 o’Ndra Bruxel questions the idea of exhibition between the physical Museum in the attempt to investigate different localities, people and their stories. Invited to the framework of an event-exhibition as Geo-graphics at Bozar, R22 o’Ndra Bruxel proposes multiple actions through the urban space: "Listening, Collecting, Sharing". With a mobile studio set up in the city R22 invites the public to enter into spaces of discovery, encounters and exchange.
R22 o’Ndra Bruxel radio program (live and pod-cast) initiates dialogues, interviews and multiple analyses with invitees (artists, curators, researchers and visitors) exploring activities of the city and its historical heritage.
* Andra: a field beaten earth where the seeds are separated from the straw, appears as an “open” space traditionally used by people in the Rif for outdoor meetings.
This R22 program is realized by Valentina Carollo, Abderrahmane Essaidi and Abdellah Karroum
